    Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava delivered her State of the County Address, highlighting the accomplishments achieved during her first three years in office, her vision for equitable economic growth, public safety progress, and how the city is in investing in 2024 in infrastructure and its people.

    In her remarks, Mayor Levine Cava highlighted historic investments, including affordable housing; relief programs for renters, seniors, and homeowners; and successful investments in stormwater management projects that have reduced flooding risks. The Mayor also noted the county reduced gun violence, made historic investments in crime prevention, and made groundbreaking advancements in septic to sewer conversions.

    The Mayor announced the 305 FUTURE READY bond package, a  historic initiative that would invest in housing, septic to sewer conversions, flood prevention, and more resilient parks. This bond will be a once-in-a-generation investment in infrastructure, preparing Miami-Dade County for a thriving future.
