Democratic Mayors Praise the Confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Democratic Mayors Association President Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney released the following statement in response to the Senate’s historic confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the United States Supreme Court:

Judge Jackson has proudly served as a federal appellate judge, a federal district court judge, a federal public defender, an attorney in private practice, and a member of the U.S. Sentencing Commission. With Judge Jackson’s exceptional credentials, impeccable character, and unwavering commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law, she will make a phenomenal addition to the Supreme Court.”
